An arrest has been made in the case of a TikTok star and teacher accused of engaging in sexual activity with a minor and transmitting STDs while working at private Christian schools in Bangkok.
According to reports, 29-year-old Luke Rockwell, hailing from Florida, allegedly had multiple encounters with a 16-year-old female student, recording the acts and urging her to maintain secrecy.
Subsequently, the girl fell ill with chlamydia and gonorrhea, as per allegations from her mother.
The concerned mother filed a report with the police, leading to Rockwell’s arrest on charges of having sexual relations with a minor and recording the acts.
The mother shared her daughter’s experience, revealing the communication between her daughter and Rockwell, along with the subsequent health complications.
The alleged victim’s mother revealed details about her daughter’s trust in Rockwell and his alleged promises to keep their encounters confidential until she reached the age of 18.
Speaking about her motivations for reporting the incident, the mother expressed her desire to ensure that Rockwell couldn’t exploit any other individuals in the future.
Rockwell, originally from Melbourne, Florida, had reportedly been employed at various educational institutions in Bangkok and gained popularity on TikTok, particularly among young girls.
The alleged victim, a student at a school where Rockwell previously taught, is said to have interacted with him through Instagram.
Describing her daughter as vulnerable and troubled, the mother emphasized the hardships her daughter had faced, including isolation and difficulties in socialization.
Authorities were notified of the situation, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Rockwell.
According to the complaint, Rockwell is accused of engaging in indecent activities with a minor below the age of 18, as per Thai regulations.
The complaint also outlined the details of the minor’s interactions with Rockwell and the subsequent health issues she experienced.
