After a technical violation, actor Zachery Ty Bryan has been released from custody. The former “Home Improvement” star was detained by authorities on Thursday, September 28, and was subsequently released on Sunday, October 1. The charges against him include two counts of 4th-degree felony assault, but his most recent arrest is not related to a new incident.

It has been revealed that Zachery’s release agreement from earlier this year was breached due to a technical violation. Specifically, he failed to charge his ankle monitor by mistake. This led to his detention during a pre-trial court office appearance. His attorney, John J. Kolego, clarified that the arrest did not involve a judge and was not associated with binge drinking as some media outlets had suggested. He also stated that Zachery is anticipating the opportunity to clear his name during the trial.

In 2020, Zachery received a plea deal for his first case on two lesser charges, but earlier this year, he was arrested again on similar charges related to a woman with whom he shares a relationship and children. Following his first conviction, Zachery claimed that the media had exaggerated the situation. His defense attorney stressed the importance of presuming Zachery’s innocence until all the facts are revealed.

While Zachery has not been involved in many movies since the late 2000s, he did make an appearance in a Netflix series called “The Guardians of Justice” last year.
