BIOGRAPHY
The actress and model Africa Ivonne Lechuga Zavala was born on August 12, 1985 in Mexico City. She studied acting at Televisa’s CEA and in 2004 she debuted on the small screen with the series Hospital el paisa . The following year she participated in the telenovela Peregrina , alongside Eduardo Capetillo. In 2006 she made some episodes for Silvia Pinal’s program, Woman, real life cases and she starred in the soap opera Code Postal. In 2008 she played Elsa Maldonado San Román, first cousin of the protagonist, Maite Perroni, in the telenovela Careful with the Angel. She has participated in projects such as The Successful Pérez , To Love Again, Amorcito Corazón and Corona de Tears. In 2013 he debuted on the big screen with the film I don’t know whether to cut my veins or leave them long , by Manolo Caro, and two years later he stars in the telenovela Amores con trap (2015), alongside Eduardo Yanez, Itatí Cantoral and Ernesto The guard. Among her most recent projects are The Champion’s Boss and the series Trapped.
