BIOGRAPHY
A great specialist in martial arts which he has practiced since the age of five, Alain Figlarz has built a solid reputation as a stuntman and fight choreographer since the early 2000s. We owe him, among other things, the spectacular scenes of action of Wasps’ Nest (2002), Memory in the Skin (id.), Babylon AD (2008), Scorpion (2007) and Chrysalis (id.). In these last two films, we can see him try free fighting against Clovis Cornillac and krav maga against Albert Dupontel . Because in addition to running his own company, Figlarz Action, specializing in stunts, this modern-day “gladiator” likes to appear in a few films, often playing very physical roles or confining himself to thug characters like in 36 Quai des Orfèvres (2004), Truands (2006) and 13m² (2007). Alain Figlarz also attracted the favors of some pros of French genre cinema such as Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher who gave him the role of a zombie building guard in La Horde in 2010.
