Although she is of Latino descent, she is an American citizen by birth.

After news of her appointment by ABC7 went viral in 2017 and she became the favorite anchor for ABC7’s traffic updates every morning. Alysha Del Valle soon disappeared from the ABC7 screen, and all of her details were deleted from her website without her fans being informed in advance. This raised many tongues about their whereabouts and events. Many believed she was fired from ABC7.
But shortly thereafter, Alysha Del Valle revealed that she placed tenth with NBC4 Network. She took to her Twitter on November 15, 2017 to announce that the reason she left ABC7 was because her contract with the network had expired.
