The film chronicles the adventures of an American football team that enjoyed the greatest success in Texas history. She subsequently made numerous appearances in comedies, dramas and horror films. Amber Heard got her first leading role in 2006 for All the Boys Love Mandy Lane , the horror film by Jonathan Levine , which remained unreleased in French theaters. The film skillfully plays on its duality, between angel and demon. In the same register, but with more humor, she plays a small role in Welcome to Zombieland , by Ruben Fleischer . Independent cinema opened its doors to her with two films: Ex-Terminators , which placed her in the same film as Heather Graham or Jennifer Coolidge , and the comedy produced by Judd Apatow , Délire Express . A woman of character, she is often chosen for characters who do not let themselves be counted on. This was the case in 2010 when she filmed Hell Driver , which offered her the role of a sexy and reckless waitress, or in the horror thriller And Soon the Darkness by Marcos Efron . She then adds big names to her journey: agreeing to be chased by a ghost in John Carpenter ‘s The Ward . She also plays the female lead opposite Johnny Depp in Rhum Express , adaptation of a novel by Hunter S. Thompson . Now considered one of the most fashionable actresses in Hollywood, Amber Heard shines in different registers, from the comedy Syrup by Aram Rappaport to the action parody Machete Kills directed by Robert Rodriguez via the thriller Paranoia by Robert Luketic

. The actress also returned to television by playing a playmate in the series The Playboy Club . Particularly at ease in action films, she forms a shock tandem with Kevin Costner in McG ‘s 3 Days to Kill and rubs shoulders with another legendary actor, Christopher Walken , in the dramatic comedy When I Live my life Over Again directed by Robert Edwards . 2015 is a busy year for the actress who is first starring in the sequel to Magic Mike , Magic Mike XXL . She subsequently starred in The Danish Girl , which traces the transformation of painter Einar Wegener into Lili Elbe, known as the first transgender woman. The actress then starred in the thriller London Fields by Matthew Cullen . A character that she finds in the latter’s sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023), still with the massive Jason Momoa in the title role. Seen since as a rock singer in Her Smell (2019) and recently in the credits of The Stand , a series adapted from Stephen King ‘s Scourge , Amber Heard is also talked about outside of the sets for her tumultuous relationship with Johnny Depp, met on the filming of Rhum Express. Married to the actor in 2015, she filed for divorce fifteen months later and accused him of domestic violence. Since then, the former couple has continued to tear each other apart and made the headlines in the tabloid press. At the end of a long trial, Amber was found guilty of defamation against Depp, and ordered to pay him $15 million in damages. The actor, for his part, will have to pay $2 million to his ex-wife.
