BIOGRAPHY
Actress Andrea Cortés began her career in front of the cameras in 2010: she appeared in some shows, in addition to being chosen to play the role of Alana in the romantic comedy series Is It Me? until 2012. The following years she continued with roles in short films and American television series such as Criminal Minds (2017) and SWAT (2020). In 2021, Cortés is one of the protagonists of The Ancient Ways , a film directed by Christopher Alender in which a journalist with Mexican roots travels to her ancestors’ home in Veracruz to investigate a story of witchcraft and healers, but is kidnapped by a group from locals, who claim that she is possessed by the devil.
