The enraged husband accused a medical doctor of sexually assaulting his wife, unleashing a physical attack during the doctor’s speech at the annual American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) conference in Baltimore.
The husband grabbed the doctor, slapped him, and shouted that the doctor had touched his wife years ago. He continued to verbally confront the doctor, expressing extreme anger and making threats. Despite the doctor not appearing injured, the incident left onlookers stunned, with one woman calling for security.
Police intervened, with the doctor choosing not to press charges but requesting the removal of the husband from the premises. The doctor, identified as a gynecologic oncologist at a New York hospital, received support from the organizers of the ACOG conference, who issued a statement condemning the violence and apologizing for any trauma caused by the incident.
