Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has shared his thoughts on their recent 2-2 draw with Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.

Initially, the Gunners appeared to be on the path to victory with goals from Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah, which nullified Andreas Pereira’s early strike.

However, the hosts managed to secure a late equalizer through Palhinha, despite being reduced to 10 men following Calvin Bassey’s red card.

Arteta attributed the dropped points to a loss of concentration.

In an interview with Sky, he stated, “Despite all the effort we put in, the opportunities we created, chance after chance, the team’s attitude, and the impact made by the substitutes – to then go 2-1 up with 10 men, it seemed like the game was sealed.”

“But unfortunately, we made mistakes. Giving away a ball, conceding a corner, and failing to defend the box with utmost determination are essential aspects for securing wins in the Premier League, and we fell short in those areas.”
