BIOGRAPHY
Mexican Axel Uriegas began his career in the world of cinema as a production assistant on films such as Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), Troy (2004), The Legend of Zorro (2005), Che: the Argentine (2008), Paradas continua (2009), among others. He also worked on the first three chapters of the biographical series of Juan Gabriel, Hasta que te connoisseur , and on the series El Sueño de Vivir and Los Heroes del Norte . He has had acting credits with supporting roles in the productions of Casi divas (2008) and Gloria (2014), and has been producer of the series Gossip Girl: Acapulco and associate producer of the television movie Seal Team Six: The raid of Osama Bin Laden (2012). Uriegas made his directorial debut in 2016 in the controversial film Chapo: the escape of the century (2016), where he recreated in a not-so-fictional way the escape from prison of the Mexican drug trafficking leader, Enrique Guzmán Loeira.
