PSG had several great opportunities to score but were continuously denied by a resilient Bayern defense that was focused on making history with another UEFA Champions League victory.

Following the defeat, PSG’s captain Thiago Silva apologized to the supporters, saying, “It was my last game in Paris. I am saddened. I apologize to the fans. I am grateful for all the love from the fans. I will return to Paris in another role. I want to play for three to four more years and participate in the HOM in Qatar.”
