EastEnders fans were left scratching their heads after new regular Ravi's accent inexplicably changed.
Newcomer Ravi Gulati, played by Aaron Thiara, joined the popular British soap back in July. But he's already been causing chaos for Walford's other residents, with his shocking plan revealed on Wednesday night's episode (28 September).
However, many viewers were distracted from the plot by Ravi's randomly changing accent. Several watchers of the BBC One show took to Twitter to express their confusion, with one writing "Where did ravi’s brummie accent come from tonight? Thought he was a cockney".

Neil Wilkes (@neothecat) also Tweeted "Ravi suddenly developing a Black Country accent is not what I had on my #EastEnders bingo card" along with an emoji of a monkey covering its mouth. This was followed with the hashtags #alrightbab and #wolvesaywe.
A third user sent out a Tweet saying: "Careful mate, your accent just jumped to Yorkshire for moment!" A fourth, meanwhile, simply said: "Ravi changed his accent #Eastenders".
New character Ravi was first introduced as an inmate at HM Prison Dickens Hill, when he was approached by long-standing EastEnders villain Phil Mitchell for a burner phone. After being released from prison, Ravi follows Phil to Albert Square, with the latter asking him to do a "job" for him.
This ends up being to kill Lewis Butler as revenge for sexually assaulting his son Ben - however, hit doesn't actually go ahead, with Kathy intervening to tell Phil to call it off. Watchers did see Ravi kill another character on-screen at the end of August, though.
Arriving at Suki Panesar's house, Ravi finds that she has hit his father Ranveer over the head with a clock after he attempted to force himself on her. However, discovering Ranveer is actually still alive, Ravi hits him again, this time actually killing him.
Ravi later cuts up the body and disposes of the remains nearby river. However, Suki continues to believe it was her that killed Ranveer and that Ravi is helping her cover up the crime.
