Bloodborne (Video Game)

Bloodborne is a 2015 action role-playing game for the PlayStation 4 developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Bloodborne follows the  player's character as a Hunter, through the decaying Gothic, Victorian-era–inspired metropolis of Yharnam, which is plagued by a blood-borne sickness. The player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting animals and cosmic creatures in an attempt to uncover the root of the plague. The game was initially released on March 24, 2015.

Bloodborne is an action role-playing game featuring themes similar to the Souls series of games, especially Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. The game is played from the perspective of a third-person of the character. The player explores Yharnam's decaying Gothic environment, fighting a variety of opponents, including bosses, collecting numerous types of objects with several uses, interacting with non-player characters, unlocking shortcuts, and moving through the main story.
