BIOGRAPHY
Brandy Norwood is an American singer, songwriter and actress, born on February 11, 1979, in McComb, Mississippi. Her father was also a musician, at the age of four, her family settled in California, where she became a fan of music and mainly of Whitney Houston. In the ’90s, Brandy approached the entertainment industry, participating in talent contests, until at fourteen she got a contract as a showgirl. Around this time, she also appeared in a few television shows and even a small role in Frank Marshall’s feature film Arachnophobia . By 1993, Brandy got a record deal and her first album was released at the end of 1994, which went gold in the United States in two months, beginning a notable career in music, with six subsequent albums released, between 1998 and 2020. As an actress, she has also formed an extensive filmography, which exceeds 50 credits, which includes appearances, in recent years, in series such as Star (2018-2019) and Queens (2021-2022), among many more.
