Brynn Gingras was born on May 12, 1982, in Wallingford, Connecticut, to parents including Italian ancestry, Mark Gingras, and Native American Christine Gingras. She would have an older sister named Margaux.
Brynn attended Lyman Hall High School, where she was an active athlete playing on the women’s basketball team. She was a four-year-old winning letter and captain of the basketball team as a senior.

Gingrass led his team to a league championship and the school’s top scorer with 1,209 points. She was named MVP for 4 years and won honors in every league, in every state, in every region and in every county.
Gingras also played on the school hockey team and was named captain twice.
She enrolled at Yale University in 2000 and graduated in 2004 with a degree in American Studies and Sociology. While in college, Gingras continued to play on the varsity basketball team.
In her freshman year, she played more games than any other freshman. Sharp tip, she quickly established herself as one of the team’s top three shooters.
Gingras left behind some outstanding stats on the Yale Bulldogs team. In 2003/2004, she was named team captain.
Judging by her incredible stats, one would immediately assume that Gingras would become a professional basketball player, but she had another passion: journalism.
After graduating in 2004, she landed a job with CBS.News Productions as a broadcast associate. However, she did not give up her love for basketball. In her spare time, she was a volunteer coach for Gingras through a downtown AAU program.

While working for CBS, Gingras contributed to the Iraq War, Hurricane Katrina, the trial of Michael Jackson and the arrest of BTK.

She became an anchor and broadcaster for JWBroadcasting in January 2006 and released in February 2010. Brynn has also anchored for CNN affiliate, KMIZ, in Columbia, Mo., as well as affiliate stations, WVIT, in Hartford, in Connecticut.
She became a reporter for NBC in March 2010.
While on NBC, she gained international recognition for her exclusive interview with the New Jersey family who were wrongly accused by a gay former Marine-turned-waitress of refusing to tip her because of her sexuality. Gingras’ reports were able to reveal the fraudster Marine, a homosexual.
Gingras reported living the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. His first images of the iconic boardwalk roller coaster floating in the ocean earned him “2012 Top Tweet” recognition on Twitter.

In May 2014, she wrote a tweet revealing that she was single and had no children. The Tweet was accompanied by a photo of her and a man named @paulvitelli who many speculated was her boyfriend. It is unknown if these two are still together.
