Bandits have killed Franco Byoma after abducting him in Kaduna State and reportedly collecting N8m ransom from his family.
According to reports, the victim, a graduate of Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, was kidnapped at Gumel community in Kachia Local Government Area of the state.
It was further revealed that his body was buried in the kidnappers’ hideout.
Since Wednesday, friends, colleagues, and family members have been mourning him on Facebook.
Lovelyn David Umar wrote the following message: “Kai Mr. Franco Byoma no be so now!!! My revenue officer and friend, wow! I just learnt about your death and I’m shattered. First because you’re gone but second because of how you died! You didn’t deserve this, nobody does! Rest in Power, sir! God this is sad.”
