In the brief footage, Cardi held a blue towel to her face while De Los Santos worked on her, using noticeable red ink. He captioned the 13-second clip with “Trabajo de hoy cardi B.”

Later, he shared a selfie with Cardi, captured by one of the rapper’s fan pages. It’s unclear what the tattoo reads as a portion is covered by her hair.

Cardi had previously mentioned that she was considering getting a tattoo of her 11-month-old son, Wave’s name, on her face. She tweeted, “Random but ….I’m 1% close to tatting my son’s name on my face….I really really wanna do it!” adding that she wanted it on her jaw.

Despite this revelation, her new tattoo doesn’t seem to feature the letter W, but the public has yet to see it clearly and up close.
