Carrie Underwood is a singer and songwriter from America. She became famous after winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. With her single “Inside Your Heaven”, she became the only country artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. She is the only solo country artist in 2000s to have a number one song on the Hot 100. She was debuted through her album Some Hearts(2005), which became the best-selling solo female debut album in music history. She won three Grammy Awards for the album, which includes the Best New Artist.

Carrie Underwood was born on March 10, 1983. Her original name is Carrie Marie Underwood, born in Muskogee. She is the youngest of three sisters. Her elder sisters are Shanna and Stephanie. She was brought up at her parent's farm in the nearby rural town of Checotah. Carrie's father was a worker in the paper mill. When she was a child, Underwood performed at Robbins Memorial Talent Show. Later, sang at Church for the local events in Checotah, which include Old Settler’s Day and the Lions Club. She was an Honor Society member, who played basketball and softball when she was studying in the school. She thought not to pursue singing after graduation. She studied at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
