In his sophomore year, he recorded 112 tackles, 4 sacks in addition to an interception. During his senior years, he recorded 186 tackles, seven sacks, five fumbles and four interceptions. The football player retained ASWA 6A All-State honors and finished the season with a record 9-2 with his teammates.CJ Mosley qualified as a four-star recruit and was listed as the sixth outside linebacker candidate in a squad of top five-star linebackers including Jordan Hicks and Christian Jones. He had sustained an injury in 2011, but that kept him from being selected to the national team until the 2012 AP All American Team and recorded 107 tackles. The footballer was later rewarded with the Alabama MVP Award . His professional career officially began in 2014 and he recorded 40-yard dashes, 20-yard dashes, 10-yard dashes and 15 bench presses.
The Baltimore Ravens had an eye for the footballer, they later signed CJ to a four-year deal worth $8.87 million including a $4.71 million bonus and he currently wears the number 57 jersey. In his professional first Game he recorded a 23-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and also recorded 15 combined tackles. He later achieved his first career interception in the game against the Indianapolis Colts in a 23-16 loss.
CJ Mosley was selected to his second Pro Bowl and second Team All-Pro in 2016, finishing the season with 92 tackles with 4 interceptions. On March 28, 2018, he renewed his one-year contract with the Ravens and currently plays there.
