The offer made by Tekashi 6ix9ine to donate $200K to the No Kid Hungry Foundation, in a bid to help feed hungry children, has been turned down by the organization.

The foundation cited that it was rejecting the rapper’s donation due to the misalignment of his “activities” with their mission.

A spokesperson for the No Kid Hungry Foundation, Laura Washburn, conveyed their decision, saying: “We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation,” according to Complex.

Washburn further clarified their stance by stating, “As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”

Expressing his discontent at the rejection of his donation, Tekashi took to Instagram to voice his frustration.

He wrote: “@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children. I never seen something so cruel.”

This rejection came shortly after a woman, who claims to be Tekashi’s baby mama, criticized him following his announcement of the $200K donation for hungry kids. The woman alleged that he is neglecting his daughter and has never met her, yet he’s offering assistance to other children (read here).

Instagram users directed blame towards the woman after the rejection of Tekashi’s donation, leading her to lock her Instagram account as a consequence.

Despite this, some individuals defended her and suggested that the foundation possibly turned down the donation due to the rapper’s criminal activities that resulted in his imprisonment.

Tekashi was recently released from prison and is currently under house arrest, following his cooperation with the Feds in the prosecution of members of the Treyway Gang.
