She was born Deborah Lynn Falconer on the 13th day of August in the year 1965. She was born and raised in the city of Sacramento, California, United States. Deborah is the only child of her mother Laura Elaine Falconer and father Henry Irvin Falconer. Not much is known about her early schooling and upbringing, but we do know that she attended Fairfield High School in Fairfield, California.
At the age of 22, Deborah Falconer made her acting debut with a minor role in the comedy film The Wrong Guys (1988). Her next role was in the Jim Morrison biopic The Doors (1991) in which she played a character called Debbie Falconer. The budding actress also starred in the comedy film Pyrates (1991) as well as the TV movie Brotherhood of the Gun (1991).
She had a starring role opposite German actor Thomas Heinze in the crime comedy film Mr. Bluesman (1993) and she also appeared in the comedy film Shortcuts (1993) which also featured her future husband, Robert Downey Jr. .
