Justin Paul Jeffre, born on February 25, 1973, is an American pop singer and politician. He gained fame as a member of the popular boy band, 98 Degrees. Before his rise to stardom, Jeffre attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, where he befriended Nick Lachey. They would later team up with Drew Lachey and Jeff Timmons to form 98 Degrees. The group, signed to Motown Records, achieved chart-topping success with hits like “Invisible Man,” “Because of You,” “Hardest Thing,” and “Una Noche.”
After a hiatus, Jeffre delved into politics and ran for mayor of Cincinnati in 2005. Although he was not elected, he drew attention to Cincinnati and remains an activist on various projects. 98 Degrees reunited after 13 years, releasing a new album and joining The Package Tour with Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block. They are focused on continuing to create music and perform together.
