It has been confirmed that Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi will be making a move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in January.

According to 90mins, a deal has been reached for the transfer of Durosinmi from Czech Republic club Viktoria Plzen to Frankfurt for a reported fee of €9 million.

Once completed, this transfer will mark him as the joint-fourth most expensive signing in Frankfurt’s history.

Preparations are underway for a medical examination scheduled for next week, and the official completion of the transfer is expected to take place when the transfer window reopens in January.

Notably, the 20-year-old displayed impressive performance, with six goals and six assists in just 11 games for Plzen before sustaining an injury.

Durosinmi is poised to become the second Nigerian player to join Eintracht Frankfurt after the legendary Austine Okocha played for the club in the 90s.
