Faith Hill was born on September 21, 1967 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She was named Audrey Faith Perry by her adoptive parents Pat and Edna Perry. She also had two older brothers. From a young age it was evident that Hill had an amazing voice and by the age of 7 she was already performing in public. In her teenage years, she performed at a variety of venues, including churches, local rodeos, and even prisons. After high school, Faith Hill attended college for a while, but then focused on her music career. She eventually moved to Nashville to pursue her dream of becoming a professional artist.
