Tori Kelly, the gospel singer, has been rushed to the hospital in a serious condition after collapsing during a dinner with friends in Los Angeles. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 23, when she reported her heart beating unusually rapidly. She was unconscious for a period of time and was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital by her own car. Reports indicate that she is being treated for blood clots near several vital organs, and the situation is described as “really serious” by TMZ.

Tori Kelly gained recognition after posting videos on YouTube at the age of 14. She later auditioned for “American Idol” in 2010 at the age of 16 and released her first EP, “Handmade Songs,” independently in 2012. After signing with Capitol Records in the following year, her debut full-length album “Unbreakable Smile” was released in 2015, featuring the lead single “Nobody Love,” which secured her first appearance on the US Billboard Hot 100. Kelly has been honored with two Grammy Awards in 2019 for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song.
