Hayden Jones Obituary, Death – Hayden passed away abruptly on July 10, 2023, near Plumas Lake, California. Hayden was born in Layton, Utah, but spent his first ten years of life in Centerville. He went to Connie’s pre-school and J.P. Stewart Elementary School during that time. Hayden has always had a great affection and sympathy for animals of all sizes, but canines have always held a special place in his heart since he was a child. Hayden was just six years old when his first dog, Milo, died of cancer while Hayden was a patient.
He’s also had two other pets named Riego and April since then. Hayden had always wanted to work with animals and had long planned to get a degree in veterinary medicine. After moving to California in 2017, Hayden began volunteering at the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. Sacramento is the location of the shelter. He has fostered a large number of pets in his own home over the last four years. He has also helped with vaccination clinics, worked with frightened dogs, and engaged in the local animal shelter’s pet food pantry program.
He gets a kick out of helping homeless pets. Hayden was known for his quick wit, ability to make people laugh, and always having a joke ready to tell. He was always eager to please others and worked hard to make others feel like they belonged and were accepted in the community. He was not the kind to complain about anything and was genuinely concerned about the well-being of those around him.
Hayden enjoyed visiting the zoo and swimming in the sea, pool, and local river. He was an ardent reader who specialized in books regarding canine friends. He was gifted with the capacity to create things with his hands, such as Legos and artwork, as well as solve puzzles without being given particular directions. Among the many artifacts he collected over his life were coins, erasers, lapel pins, and bamboo. He also sang in the school band and played the flute. In addition, he was a competent mixer who was constantly working to improve his culinary skills.
