Heather Tesch is a citizen of the United States of America; she was born in Buffalo, Minnesota on May 2 and in 1967.
While details of her upbringing and early education are hard to come by, it is known that she completed her high school education at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Heather was a brilliant student. she graduated Magna cum Laude from the public research university. In addition to this, she holds a B.Sc. in Meteorology which she obtained from Plymouth State University. Like her BA in Broadcast Journalism, she also earned a Magna cum Laude from coeducational, residential college in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
Heather Tesch is certainly best known for her time working with The Weather Channel; that was from January 1999 to October 2012. Serving the media in Atlanta, Georgia, she didn’t just focus on live duties. Tesch has also served as a producer as well as being quoted in animal welfare stories on the channel and on Weather.com. Prior to joining The Weather Channel, she worked for WCCO-TV from 1996 to 1998. As previously reported, she is now a freelance meteorologist working for WXIA-TV.
As of this writing, she serves as a columnist for Orange County Post – Sentinel, where she writes a column called Heather on Life, Pets and Weather. It is believed she hopes to work in a similar capacity for other newspapers and plans to do something else in television to improve the state of animal welfare and help people cope with the times.
