Responding at last, Saida Mouh, the mother of PSG defender Achraf Hakimi, addressed the rumors claiming that her son had transferred all his assets to her.
There was a viral rumor suggesting that Hakimi’s wife would receive nothing in their divorce as it was revealed that he had no personal assets; all were in his mother’s name.
Hakimi’s mother stated she had no knowledge of this and it came as news to her as well.
“If he has taken any action to protect himself, I’m unaware of it,” Morocco World News quoted Hakimi’s mother as saying.
She also mentioned that if the news were true, there would be nothing wrong with her son taking steps to protect himself.
“What’s the problem if the news is true? If my son does not do this, he will not be able to get rid of that woman [Hiba Abouk],” Hakimi’s mother said.

After her divorce from Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi, his ex-wife Hiba Abouk speaks out amid their tumultuous divorce.
Abouk expressed her peace with the situation despite the rape allegations against Hakimi, but she needed time to come to terms with the shock.
She revealed that the couple had been undergoing a divorce process since Hakimi was accused of rape in February.
In an interview with ELLE, Hakimi’s ex-wife said, “I am fine. There are days when it is like this, and others in which you’ve to know how to take blows and make decisions, sometimes complicated, and get used to new situations.”
Hiba Abouk added, “Who would’ve imagined that in addition to facing the usual pain that a separation entails and accepting the grief that the failure of a family project to which I had given myself body and soul entails, I would’ve to face this ignominy? I needed time to digest this shock.
When you separate, you restructure your life, but it’s not anything special either: you’ve to take iron out of the matter. It’s true that, with two children, it is emotionally complicated, but I’m not the first and I will not be the last.
The important thing is that I have the peace of mind of having tried and having done everything I had to do. There are decisions that cannot be made overnight. For me it’s a premise not to rush in moments of crisis.”
On another note, it has been alleged that reaching a settlement may be difficult as Hakimi has reportedly listed a significant portion of his wealth under his mother’s name.
Abouk and Hakimi share two children, Amín and Naim, aged 3 and 1 respectively. The couple got married in 2020 after meeting in 2018.
