Maria Okan, a media personality, has once again taken to social media to refute claims that she was offered money to abort her daughter, Monife, alleged to be fathered by rapper Olamide.
Yesterday, she used social media to address and dismiss the rumor, revealing that she was already halfway through her pregnancy when she decided to raise her daughter alone. Read here.
In a recent update on her Twitter account, Maria affirmed that she neither received an offer of money nor asked for it to terminate her pregnancy and emphasized that she never received money to terminate a child.
”Good morning. I was never OFFERED, I never ASKED, nor did I RECEIVE money to terminate a pregnancy. I heard that story for the 1st time when you all did – when I was 8 months pregnant. You say I made the wrong choice to carry life, and I should’ve opted for termination? Pele. I love motherhood.”
