Although their parents worked as hairdressers, they encouraged their children to go to theaters and summer camp as well as play music. This is how Christina Perri and her brother Nick Perri, guitarist and songwriter, found their way as musicians.

At the age of 17, Perri joined her brother in LosAngeles but was left alone while he was on tour, she would then miss home and cry all day while writing songs and it gave her strength to pursue his musical dreams.
