The rumors started to spread when Michelle tweeted a clip from the show in which Michael Baldwin gave speeches about why Phyllis must stay in Genoa City instead of leaving for New York.
Michelle played Phyllis from 1994 to 2013 and then left the soap and went to General Hospital, where the actress played Nina Reeves from 2014 to 2019. She then left GH to reclaim over as Phyllis. Michelle re-appeared as Phyllis in June 2019.
