Following a close brush with death, Jamie Foxx is determined to embrace life to the fullest.
The actor has transformed his home into a Christmas wonderland, and he shared a video of the elaborately decorated house on Instagram, featuring bright lights and festive decorations.
In his Instagram caption, he wrote: “When I was a kid the only lights we could afford for outside the house was a red light bulb… I said when I’m finally blessed enough. I’m GON LIGHT IT UP!!! Murrrrrrkrima.”
A follower pointed out that all the lights would increase his electricity bills but he disclosed that he is using solar.
Earlier this year, Jamie was hospitalized for months after a medical emergency.
Reports indicate that his condition was critical, and he was revived by doctors, narrowly escaping death.
Accepting the Vanguard Award, Foxx disclosed that he “saw the tunnel but not the light,” hinting at his near-death experience.
He expressed gratitude for life and art, acknowledging the transformative impact of the ordeal on his perspective.
