The 19-year-old eldest daughter of Kobe Bryant, Natalia Bryant, has filed for a restraining order against a man who she alleges has been sending her unwanted messages, stalking her in person, and possesses a collection of weapons.

In documents submitted to the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Bryant expressed her fear for her safety in the presence of 32-year-old Dwayne Kemp, stating that they have never met or had any form of contact, although he believes they are in a relationship.

Kemp’s attempts to initiate contact date back to 2020, when he allegedly approached Bryant under the assumption of a romantic relationship. He later sent her a direct message featuring a photo of Kobe Bryant with a message suggesting they should have a child together resembling Kobe. Furthermore, Bryant revealed that Kemp appeared at her sorority house and was spotted searching for her on the USC campus while she was attending a class.

The court documents indicate that Kemp has a history of arrests and convictions related to firearms, and he has allegedly made threats to purchase firearms, including an AK-47 and a fully automatic Glock. The Los Angeles Police Department is actively involved in the investigation and supports the request for a restraining order.

Natalia Bryant has requested that the court issue a restraining order enforcing Kemp to stay at least 200 yards away from her, her residence, her workplace, her sorority house, and her vehicle.

This is a serious matter, and the involvement of the authorities and the request for legal protection highlight the gravity of the situation.
