Kristy Hartley Obituary,  Death – It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the sudden passing of Kristy (McKinney) Hartley, a beloved member of the Mercy Jefferson inpatient care management team. Kristy’s unexpected departure has left a void in our hearts, and we extend our condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues during this challenging time.

Kristy’s presence and contributions were invaluable to the Mercy Jefferson community, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside her. We join together in expressing our sympathy and lifting up in prayer Kristy’s husband Ronnie, her children Karissa, Mikie and Gary, grandson Kayden, and her entire family.

As we navigate through this difficult moment, we recognize the impact Kristy had on our Mercy Jefferson family, especially those who worked closely with her. The sudden loss is felt keenly, and we acknowledge that each of us may grieve in our own way. During this time, we encourage everyone to be mindful of each other, offering support and understanding, particularly to our care management and Med 2 teams who worked closely with Kristy.

To provide additional support, members of the Mercy pastoral care team will be available this week to speak with any co-workers who seek their assistance. Additionally, the Mercy Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers resources, including counseling services available 24/7. Requests to EAP are confidential and are seen only by EAP team members. Co-workers and their families can reach EAP at 855-MERCY-EAP (855-637-2932), and more information is available on Baggot Street. As we remember Kristy and the impact she made on our lives, let us honor her memory by continuing our mission of caring for our patients and meeting the needs of our community. May Kristy rest in peace, and may her legacy inspire us to uphold the compassionate and dedicated spirit she brought to our Mercy Jefferson family.
