BIOGRAPHY
It was by following his sister in castings that Kyle Gallner began his career on television. Very quickly, he made occasional appearances in series ( New York 911 , New York Special Unit , Cold Case , Bones ). In 2004, he joined the cast of season 1 of Veronica Mars for the last three episodes. Renewed for season 2, her character of Cassidy “Beaver” Casablancas becomes central and her participation in the series marks a turning point in her career on the small screen. The same year, he took on the costume of Bart Allen (the Flash) in Smallville , a character who made episodic appearances during the ten seasons.
Kyle Gallner also made his mark in cinema, where he appeared in numerous thrillers and horror films, often through secondary characters ( Red eye – under high pressure in 2004, Danika in 2006, Sublime in 2007, Jennifer’s Body in 2009, Red the same year and The Last Rite in 2012). In 2010, with Freddy: The Claws of the Night , the young actor landed his first important role. He plays Quentin Smith, “member” of the group of teenagers attacked by the terrifying Freddy. Alongside this orientation towards rather violent films, the actor starred in the drama Smashed (2011), the comedy Cougars, Inc. (id.) and the fantasy film for teenagers Sublime Creatures (2013).
After appearing in the first episode of the fourth season of the hit series The Walking Dead , Kyle Gallner joins the cast of American Sniper , a new biopic directed by Clint Eastwood . He plays Winston, a soldier deployed to Iraq, alongside Bradley Cooper .
