As Rangers prepare to face Aberdeen at the Pittodrie on Sunday, Leon Balogun is optimistic about the team’s ability to uphold their remarkable form.
The Gers have secured an unbeaten streak in their last eight matches across all competitions.
Prior to the international break, the defender expressed his desire for Philippe Clement’s side to continue their positive momentum.
Balogun commented during a press conference, “I think it was crucial for us to have more training time during this international break. With the manager being here for six weeks now, he aims to impart his ideas and philosophy more clearly to us. I believe it has been effective, as evident in our performances.”
He added, “The break was beneficial. Despite having a decent squad still here, we focused on both physical and tactical aspects. Everyone is eager to return to action this weekend.”
With three league appearances for the Light Blues, the 35-year-old is determined to contribute to the team’s continued success.
