Growing emotional, LeToya Luckett recently shared the struggles she faced following her departure from Destiny’s Child. Luckett recalled her difficult transition out of the famous girl group during an Instagram Live session. Luckett, who was in the group from 1993 to 2000, explained how she felt unprepared for life after leaving the band, having not lived a “normal teenager” life or pursued higher education.

The singer, now 39, expressed how she lacked confidence and struggled to envision herself pursuing a music career. She revealed that her challenges extended to finding accommodation, describing having to sleep in a car and stay in a hotel while surviving on a diet of microwavable noodles.

Luckett, however, found her breakthrough when she secured a lead role in the 2010 movie “Preacher’s Kid.” Additionally, she credits her faith for helping turn her life around, leading her to surrender and trust in God for guidance.

Since leaving Destiny’s Child, Luckett has released three solo studio albums and has diversified into acting, appearing in various TV shows. She is now pregnant with her second child and is married to Tommicus Walker. She also shared a video of her emotional conversation on an Instagram Live.
