BIOGRAPHY
Lorenza Izzo grew up in Santiago, Chile before spending part of her adolescence in the USA, in Atlanta. She returned to complete her schooling in Chile at the age of 16 and then studied for a time at the University of Los Andes in Santiago.

The young woman then decided to move to New York to take classes at the famous Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. At the same time, Lorenza began a career as a model at the age of 17 but aspires to become an actress.

She made her dream come true in 2011 by taking part in the successful Chilean diptych Que pena tu vida and its sequel, Que pena tu familia , directed by Nicolas Lopez . The actress then remains linked to the filmmaker who calls on her again to join the cast of his disaster film, Aftershock, hell on earth . In this film, the young woman teams up with Eli Roth to survive in a world devastated by an earthquake.

Lorenza catches the eye of the filmmaker from Hostel who offers her to star in his next feature film, The Green Inferno . He offered him the lead role in this horror film, a sort of homage to Cannibal Holocaust , where a group of young New York activists find themselves confronted, during a trip to the Amazon, with a bloodthirsty tribe. In France, The Green Inferno is released in e-cinemas on September 25, 2015.

After the harsh experience of filming Roth’s film, the beautiful Lorenza changes register and shines in Sex Ed , a comedy in which she plays the role of Haley Joel Osment , the little boy who saw dead people in The Sixth Sense .

Eli Roth was quick to call back the sultry Chilean (who became his wife in the city in 2014) to play the incandescent but formidable Genesis in Knock Knock , his new film. In this oppressive thriller, the young woman teams up with Ana de Armas to seduce a married man with a tidy life played by Keanu Reeves . After inciting him to commit adultery, the young women will set about meticulously destroying his life. Release of the film scheduled for September 23, 2015.
