BIOGRAPHY
Mayra Membreño is a young Mexican actress, who has started her potential professional career on the right foot, as one of the protagonists of the acclaimed feature film Noches de fuego (2021), by Mexican director Tatiana Huezo, whose screening at the Film Festival of Cannes culminated with several minutes of applause. Mayra, like several of the cast members, was not a professional actress and had no previous experience, a characteristic that Huezo took advantage of to tell a strong story about human trafficking in Guerrero, Mexico and the growth of several teenagers in that environment.
