BIOGRAPHY
American actor and screenwriter Matt Gerald graduated from the University of Pennsylvania before making his big screen debut under the direction of John Enbom in the 1998 drama Starstruck . The following years he was notable for his participation in other productions include: Magnolia (1999), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and Avatar (2009). Gerald also appeared in several television series over the years, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2007), The Unit (2006-2008) and Dexter (2012). In recent years, Gerald became best known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) such as the short White Power Dave in All Hail the King (2014) and Melvin Potter in the Netflix series Daredevil (2015-2018) . ). He will soon be seen again playing the role of Corporal Lyle Wainfleet in the second film of James Cameron’s Avatar science fiction franchise, Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).
