BIOGRAPHY
Melinda Clarke grew up in California with her mother, a dancer, and her father, actor John Clarke, known for his portrayal of Mickey Horton for 39 years on the soap Days of Our Lives . At 18, Melinda Clarke began modeling in Los Angeles, before joining her father in Days of Our Lives in 1989, which marked the start of her acting career.
She turned to cinema in 1991 with Hot under the collar, then Young Goodman Brown (1993). She gained her first fans thanks to the horror film Return of the Living Dead 3 (1993), before starring in Spawn (1997), a film adaptation of the comics of the same name.
On television, Melinda Clarke appears in many successful series, including the comedy series Seinfeld , Xena, the Warrior (1997), CSI , and Charmed (2002) in the role of a Mermaid. In 2003, she played the bitchy Julie Cooper in the series Newport Beach .
