A report claiming that business mogul and talent manager Soso Soberekon donated N2 million to Mohbad’s son has sparked mixed reactions.

It is no longer a secret that the young and talented singer had a 5-month-old son, Liam Light, with his wife Wunmi.

Since it was revealed that the singer kept his son’s existence private, many people have been offering financial support to his wife.

Joining in, talent manager and businessman Soso Soberekon gifted the late singer’s son N2 million.

While some appreciated the businessman for the generous gift, others criticized him for remembering the singer’s son only after his death.

One Ask4 Vanessa expressed, “All these alerts are for clout. Why didn’t he give the boy protection or provide maximum security when he was alive? It’s only now he remembers him, all for clout.”

One Sabitalk commented, “Don’t give my son money when I’m dead. Give it to him while I’m alive. Gistlovers, I see your handwork.”

One Lizzy Clothings criticized, “You all want to use this guy’s situation to chase clout. Seriously?”

One Leeyahs Haritage raised a question, “All this money they are giving the son, will it sustain him until he turns 18? Money will run out. Is that all they will give him? Justice must be served.”

One Nifemi Edo expressed, “This is nonsense, 2 million for what? When Mohbad died, was there a press release on D General Bitters page? No! Not until few days later when you were called out.”

One Pretty Loss wrote, “You people killed his father and now you’re starting to give him money in his father’s absence.”

One Pzz Ugram criticized, “Only 2 million after all the dragging. May you be cursed, Soso. How much do you spend on Bet Naija? What are you enjoying?”

NewsNow previously reported that Naira Marley, who has faced blame from many, allegedly raised funds for Mohbad’s son.

This gesture was reported by media personality and artist Samklef.

Nigerian businessman and Chairman of Almubee Group, Almubee, also gifted Omowunmi N2 million and promised to sponsor their son through university.

It should be recalled that hours after Mohbad’s death, his wife and the mother of his child expressed her distress at the responsibility of caring for their child alone.

In a series of Instagram posts, the single mother wondered where to start, as she now carries the burden of two people alone.
