The country singer, Wade, began her journey of sobriety. Her music changed, and so did her career.

Wade performed for her audience at the 2018 FloydFest held in her hometown. At this event, Jason Isbell’s guitar tech, Sadler Vaden, was watching her perform.

When Wade’s performance ended, Vaden went up to her, asking if he could get a CD of her songs. Not knowing who he was, Wade told him to buy it from her merchandise table.

After the encounter, Vaden sent her an email stating who he was and why he wanted to listen to her songs.

Yes, you guessed it right! Sadler Vaden wanted to work with Wade. Finally realizing the opportunity, Wade replied the confirmation.

Soon, they started working on new songs to produce. And in 2019, with Vaden producing the song, Wade released “The Night.”

Similarly, in 2020, the collaboration produced “Don’t Cry.” After they released the singles and warmed up the audience, they released Wade’s full-length solo debut album “Reckless.”

The main aim of her album was to connect with the audience and to make them feel that they belonged.

Due to the raw emotions in the song and the sense of belonging somewhere for the audience, they supported Wade and gave her the morale to continue.
