BIOGRAPHY
Neal McDonough was born on February 13, 1966 in Dorchester, Massachusett, the son of Irish motel owners Catherine (Bushe) and Frank McDonough. He grew up in Barnstable, Massachusetts, he graduated from Barnstable High School and attended Syracuse University. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1988.
McDonough frequently appeared as Captain Laser, inspiring young students to complete their studies. He studied for a short time at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. McDonough has had many appearances on television and film since 1991, appearing in Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Minority Report (2002), Timeline (2003), Stomping (2004), The Guardian (2006), The Conquest of the honor (2006) and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). His television appearances include Blood Brothers (2001), Metropolis (2002) , Desperate Housewives (2004), Medical Investigation (2004), Tin Man (2007), Justified: Raylan’s Law (2010) and most recently DC’s Legends of Tomorrow ( 2016).
In December 2003 he married the South African model Ruvé Robertson . They currently live in Los Angeles, California, with their four children.
