Nick Cannon has openly admitted to feeling “guilt” over having multiple children.
Despite being a father of 11 children and expecting another, the 42-year-old confesses to struggling with balancing his work life and spending enough time with his kids.
During an episode of Paramount+’s “The Checkup with Dr. David Agus,” Cannon shared, “Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children. One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.”
Cannon’s children include 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, 5-year-old Golden “Sagon,” 23-month-old Powerful Queen, and 2-month-old son Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell, as well as other children from different relationships.
In 2021, Cannon faced the tragedy of losing his son Zen to brain cancer at just 5 months old, describing it as “the heaviest, most dark and depressive experiences that I will never get over.”
Despite the challenges, Cannon and his partner Alyssa Scott are expecting their second child together, which would mark Cannon’s 12th child.
