After watching Dark October on Netflix, a Nigerian lady shared a video on Instagram of herself in tears. She was being consoled by her friends and expressed how deeply the movie touched her.
“Dark October,” produced by Linda Ikeji and directed by award-winning Nigerian filmmaker Toka McBaror, brought to life the tragic story of the four young university students (ALUU 4) who were lynched in Port Harcourt in October 2012, an event that deeply impacted the nation.
