Yemi approves Enyimba’s performance despite loss against Plateau United
Enyimba’s head coach, Olanrewaju Yemi, emphasized the importance of continually improving their performance.
The People’s Elephant narrowly lost to Plateau United in a matchday 18 fixture at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday, thus marking the end of Enyimba’s five-game unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Yemi acknowledged the positive display from both teams and considered it a good advertisement for the Nigeria Premier Football League.
During the post-match interview, he expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, stating, “I’m really impressed with the way my boys played. It’s all about how we improve every day because we know every game comes with different challenges.”
“We really prepared adequately for the game because Plateau United are a good side that likes to play good football,” he added.
He also highlighted that the game was well-received by the audience in attendance.
Following the defeat, Enyimba dropped to fifth position on the table and is scheduled to face Shooting Stars next in Ibadan.
