Beginning on Monday, 18th December, 2023, the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, will open its portal for registration for remobilization of absconded Corps members.

Explaining the process, Eddy Megwa, Director of Press and Public Relations, stated that remobilization offers a second chance to Corps members who did not complete their initial service year when mobilized for national service.

The statement urged all Corps members in this category to take advantage of this opportunity.

NewsNow recently reported that in Katsina State, the NYSC extended the service of 16 out of 661 Corps members who had completed their service year on Friday.

These 16 Corps members had their service year extended due to violations of rules and regulations.
