BIOGRAPHY
At the age of 19, Raphaël Lenglet moved to Paris to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Between his film studies at university as a screenwriter and acting classes, the young man made his first steps on stage. After playing the young Samy Naceri in Alexandre Arcady’s feature film Là-bas… In my country, he was spotted by Yvan Le Bolloc’h who gave him his chance on Caméra café. M6 finally recruited him in 2006 for its new original series Les Bleus, starring Clémentine Célarié. Alongside Nicolas Gob, Élodie Yung and Mhamed Arezki, he plays Alex Moreno, an ex-kid from the “estate” who is taking his first steps in the police. The series remained on the air for four seasons and already attracted the attention of the general public.
Laurent Ruquier chose him in 2008 to join the troupe of his new show “Open Bed”, at the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens. Captivated, Charlotte de Turckheim, in charge of the staging, gave him a role in 2012 in her film Mince alors!. The same year, he took on the role of instructor for Vive la colo, the TF1 series with Virginie Hocq and Titoff. Season 2 will be without his character, since in the meantime France 2 bets on him to give the answer to Cécile Bois in the police comedy Candice Renoir. The duo works well and the series is a great success. Raphaël Lenglet plays Captain Antoine Dumas, who has a complicated relationship with the heroine. The young man took the opportunity to go behind the camera and direct several episodes of the show.
In 2016, Raphaël Lenglet was directed by Dutch filmmaker Paul Verhoeven in the dark Elle starring Isabelle Huppert. On the small screen, he is the brother of Nadia Farès in Les Ombres Rouges, the C8 thriller produced by Cyril Hanouna. Finally, for the purposes of the investigation of Murders in Granville, he teams up with Florence Pernel on France 3 in the hope of unmasking the culprit.
