Kanye West has been cleared of charges for throwing a female photographer’s cellphone during an altercation. The Ventura Co. District Attorney’s Office stated that the cellphone had only suffered minor damage to its protective case and the woman declined to press charges against West. Video evidence showed West confronting the female photographer and tossing her cellphone aside while en route to his children’s basketball game. The incident occurred in January and involved West’s suspicion of being followed by paparazzi. His ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, was also present at the game.
